This session will allow you to build/share adhoc queries from current year data that could impact the CRDC reporting in 2022.

To review potential CRDC data from 20-21, both a Fall and Summer PEIMS file(s) should be loaded into OnDataSuite.

NOTE: Fall PEIMS=Final, Summer PEIMS=Preliminary (until after resubmission/July 2021)

Open the file, by clicking on the “Info” tab ( right) to see which interchanges loaded.

Example 1: COUR-1a. Grade 7/8 Algebra I Classes*
Only for schools and justice facilities with any grade 7-8, UG middle school age students

Step 1 – Create a Focus list for snapshot (Fall Dashboard)

• Click on total count of snapshot enrollment.
• Use “Create Focus List” at the top of the student list.
• Save

Step 2 – Create Adhoc report

• Student tab / Student Report Center (left)
• Apply Focus List – Snapshot enrollment

(Cour) – Course Completion category for year 20-21 will be available when Course Completions are assigned in the SIS, extracted into the Summer PEIMS file (state reporting), and uploaded into OnDataSuite.

• Criteria = Service ID (filter- Algebra I)
• Criteria = Grade
• Criteria = Pass/Fail
• Criteria = Campus (opt)
• Create Report

Step 3- Add begin/end dates

• Click on total (65) to produce the list of students.
• Use “Column Options” at the top of the report
• Click “Add Columns”
• Select
  • Student
  • Student Section Association
  • Student Begin Date and Student End Date
  • Year
• Submit Changes

View report for 1st semester “snapshot” dates to cull out any 2nd semester data.

Example 2 – APIB-4: Different Advanced Placement (AP) Courses
Only for schools with any grade 9-12, UG high school age students enrolled in AP

• Create Adhoc
• Apply Fall Enrollment Focus List 20-21
• Use Course Completion ( filter 20-21)
  • Criteria = Service ID ( Filter for AP)
  • Criteria = Campus ( optional)

Example 3 – DISC-7b:  Discipline of Students without Disabilities – In-School Suspensions
Schools, grades K-12, UG

• Step 1 – Focus List
  • Student Report Center
  • Summer Enrollment (Filter 20-21)
  • Criteria = Discipline Action ( Filter 06 and26)
  • Create Report
  • Create Focus List

• Step 2 – Create Adhoc
  • Student Report Center
  • Apply Focus List “ISS 20-21”
  • Use Summer Enrollment 20-21
  • Criteria = Special Education Summer (filter =0)
  • Criteria = Gender
  • Criteria = Race/Ethnicity
  • Create Report

• Load Last Report
  • Change Criteria from Gender to =LEP
  • Create Report

Suggestion to use any CRDC audit queries from last submission.

There is an option to share any reports you build with other OnDataSuite users, anywhere!

Collaborate and organize to spread the “load” out and not reinvent the wheel!

This functionality is located under Bookmarks – top right.

LEA Cloud Sharing folder ( left) allows you to search and view reports created by other OnDataSuite users.

LEA Cloud Sharing Icon ( top) allows you to share a report to other OnDataSuite Users.

• Bookmark report as usual.
• Locate bookmarked report and click the LEA Cloud Share Icon.
• Complete the form and click Post.

• Note: No email notifications will be sent when you share a report. Notify manually.
• Reports with  Focus List will NOT include the Focus List, However, users can open the report and add their own specific focus list, as needed.

If a report in LEA Cloud Sharing needs to be removed, please submit a ticket to request.

We will be notifying OnDataSuite users who have checked the box to receive email and are an Admin of OnDataSuite or have selected the Area of Interest = CRDC Submitter.

• Locate using Hamburger menu – top right 3 horizontal bars.
• Select “My Account” / Job Title and Areas of Interest
• Check box to receive email notifications.
• Select CRDC Submitter ( under Areas of Interest)
• Update Settings
