2.PEIMS Data #

2.1.Submission 1 - Fall PEIMS data #

Fall PEIMS data is mainly based on students/staff that were in the district on “snapshot day”.

  • Leaver records are  submitted during Fall PEIMS. These students were enrolled during the prior school year and did not return to the district this year. It includes graduates from the prior year.
  • Review these elements BEFORE Fall PEIMS is submitted/Resubmitted
  • This collection is submitted to TEA in Nov or Dec, with a change to resubmit in January.

 

CCMR Indicators

  • E1589 – Military Enlistment Indicator: identifies a student’s enlistment or intent to enlist in a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. (Leaver Record – Graduates)

 

  • Industry Based Certification ( IBC)  – identifies students who obtained a state approved certification/License. (Leaver Record – Graduates) TEA approved list available in TEDS C214
    • E1586 – First Post-Secondary Certification Licensure
    •  E1592 – Second Post-Secondary Certification Licensure
    •  E1593 – Third Post-Secondary Certification Licensure
    • Only 1 Certification/Licensure is needed to meet CCMR

 

  • IEP & Workforce Readiness Graduate
    • E0806 – Graduation Type Code: identifies the SPED student’s  graduation programs who received modified content in one or more courses for graduation credit. ( Leaver Record-Graduates)
    • Appropriate codes (TEDS C062) based on students first year in 9th grade include: 04,05,54,55 – as per each student’s IEP.

 

Additional PEIMS Data Impacting Accountability

  • E0919 – At Risk Indicator Code: identifies the student’s At Risk status based on 13 at-risk criteria as defined in TEC §29.081

 

  • Continuously enrolled – Snapshot 3-4 years (Closing Gaps/ESSA)

2.2.Submission 3 -Summer PEIMS data #

Summer PEIMS data is submitted to TEA after school is completed. First due date is in June, with the opportunity for a re submission in July. Review this data BEFORE the re submission date in July.

 

  • E1011 – Dual Credit Indicator: identifies courses taken for dual credit allowing students to earn both HS and College Credit for students Grades 9-12(Course Completion Record)
    • E1081  College Credit Hours reported for a student
    • 9 hours of College Credit in any subject in a 4 year period
    • 3 hours of College Credit in ELA or Math in a 4 year period

 

  • E1597 – OnRamps Indicator: identifies courses taken as part of the University of Texas OnRamps program allowing students to earn both HS and College Credit for students Grades 9-12(Course Completion Record)

 

  • CTE Coherent Sequence
    • E0031 – CTE Indicator: students coded with a ‘2′ (enrolled in a coherent sequence of Career and Tech courses) for students in grade 12. (Course Completion Record)
    • CTE Courses Aligned with IBC list provided by TEA. (Service IDS from CO22)

 

  •  College Prep Course ( CP)
    • E0724 – Service ID (C022 code table in TEDS) must be one of the following:
      •  ELA – CP110100
      •  Math – CP111200
    •  E0948 – Course Sequence code of 0, 2, 5 or 9 to identify a single semester course.
    •  E0949 – Pass/Fail Credit Indicator: Student should be codes as Pass for CCMR.

2.3.Combined submissions - Fall /Summer PEIMS #

Fall and Summer PEIMS data

  • E1596 – Associate Degree Indicator: identifies students that have completed the requirements to earn an Associate Degree for students in grades 11 or 12.

 

Additional PEIMS Data Impacting Accountability:

  • E0785 – Economically Disadvantaged Code: identifies the student’s economically disadvantaged status. (Student Progress Domain/School Progress Domain/Relative Performance)

 

  • E0790 LEP Indicator Code: Identifies students coded as English Learners currently and monitored through the fourth year. (Closing Gaps/ESSA)

 

  • Graduation Rate – Identifies students first time in the ninth grade and assigns to a cohort for expected graduation date in 4 , 5 or 6 years. Then compares to students who actually receive a High School Diploma.

    • Sr. Year – Received credit for Math College Prep/ Dual Credit course- 3 hours (Y/N)
