4.1.Peer List Dashboard #

Peer List Dashboard

To help users create peer lists in alignment with various  student population types, OnPar provides a graphical display of the districts most recent TAPR release information at the top of the page.

Peer List Dashboard – Default Base District

When you log into OnPar your Peer List Dashboard is defaulted to your district data and region.  If you wish to change to a different district or campus, do this by searching and selecting a different base district in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

4.2.Creating Peer Lists Manually #

This section will show you how to create peer lists manually via search.

4.2.1.Finding Peers Manually #

Finding Peers Manually
To search for districts manually, enter the first three letters of the district/campus that you are looking for. OnPar will populate a list to select from.

Important Note: All selections must come from the provided value lists. This list is populated by data released within the state released TAPR files, so if you are typing a name in the system and it is not appearing as you type, please verify the proper spelling as issued by the official TEA TAPR file.

4.2.2.Adding Peers Manually #

Adding Peers Manually
To add a peer to your list, first search for the peer by typing in the name in the open box field. Click on your selection to make it active in the box and then click on the ‘Add’ button and the peer will be moved to the list on the right hand side of the screen. To keep adding peers, continue to search and add each peer to the list manually.

When all of the comparative districts/campuses are visible in the list you will need to give your list a name and save the list into the system. During this time, you may remove found districts/campuses from your list by clicking the trashcan icon in the column next to the district/campus you wish to remove from your list.

To activate a slider option click on the ‘No’ button. A green ‘Yes’ button will confirm that you have activated the slider option for that particular filter.

The filter lowest possible values are defaulted to the logged in districts latest TAPR reported value but can be adjusted even lower if needed.

The filter highest possible values are defaulted to the highest reported TAPR values in the system. These size of these values will be affected if your first selection is by Region Only. Then this value would represent the highest possible value for all of the Region.
